In a recent interview with the European Coatings Journal, Axel Schneider, CEO of CATHAY INDUSTRIES Europe, describes the current climate of ongoing investments in the global market of iron oxide pigments despite the rather moderate market growth expectations. He refers to all three major suppliers of iron oxide products having announced significant investment plans, all three for different motivations. He also underlines that the growth strategy of CATHAY INDUSTRIES Group is to continue.
The interview as published in the European Coatings Journal, issue 7-8/2013:
In its biannual appearance the European Coatings Show is going to open its doors in Nuremberg again from 19 to 21 March 2013. The event attracted 25,000 visitors and 887 exhibitors in 2011 and is appreciated as the most important trade show for coatings, adhesives, sealants and construction chemicals in Europe.
CATHAY INDUSTRIES will be exhibiting with its booth in hall 7, booth No. 7-422. Specialists from the worldwide CATHAY sales team as well as from Headquarter will be present and available to meet the international customer base to discuss all kinds of topics around the CATHAY product lines CATHAYCOAT™, CATHAYPURE™ and FERROTINT™.
Special promotional focus will be given to CATHAY’s high chroma red pigments. Even though iron oxides, the products offer a brilliancy that is usually not linked to this chemistry. The products are marketed under the brand name CATHAYCOAT™.
“This is the most important meeting point in the European coatings market and attracts the vast majority of our customers from inside and outside Europe”, says Axel Schneider, CEO of CATHAY INDUSTRIES EUROPE. “We look forward to presenting our latest technologies at the European Coatings Show again”.
