Ochres are nature’s premier “Buff” color pigments. These natural iron oxides are known for their durability and are considered a permanent pigment. Ochres are lightfast with good chemical resistance as well.
Hoover 110NO is part of Hoover’s “Better” series of Ochre pigments, balancing the need for product quality and cost. This pigment disperses on high speed equipment to a lower level than Hoover’s “Better” series, but can still be media-milled to desired specifications. Ochres are used in many applications, but are often utilized in wood stains, construction products, artist materials, as well as paints and coatings.
